As mentioned earlier, Hua Hin is about 3 hours’ drive from Bangkok. At present, there are no direct International flights to this place, so the best option is to reach Suvarnabhumi International Airport or Don Mueang International Airport and travel by road. There are plenty of buses and trains heading to this city from Bangkok. If that is not an option, private transport can be hired which takes about 2 and a half hours’ drive along the coast.
Huan Hin is marked by temperate weather all year round. The temperatures continuously remain in a comfortable range of low to mid 30 degrees. Late March to April has the hottest weather with temperatures going up to high thirteen. The best time to visit is from December to mid-March when it is usually dry and cold.
May to October is the rainy season, but you do have plenty of sunshine when it’s not raining. This period is also a good time to travel but don’t be surprised by some heavy showers in between. If you are visiting during this period, plan for some indoor team building activities.
