In today’s highly competitive world, stress is a part of everybody’s life. Be it on the work or personal front, every individual has to deal with stress – albeit of different kinds and in different ways. Essentially there are two kinds of stress. The first comes from healthy competition, deadlines to meet, new colleagues to coordinate with and other such factors – called good stress. These facets of your life inspire and motivate you to do and achieve more. The other stress – what we call bad stress – is what comes from anxiety, which leaves you overwhelmed and worried, often leading to more serious conditions like depression. The problem lies in the fact that good and bad stress cannot be defined for all individuals – it differs from person to person.

This module introduces you with 6 techniques of coping with stress. We encourage you to each of them; some of which includes anticipating and avoiding potentially stressful situations and tapping into imagery, positive thought, and meditation.
Physical exercises are known to reduce stress in the short-term. It is also an important exercise to ensure physical fitness – an important component of your mental strength and ability. This module will teach you simple exercises such as deep breathing and cable stretches to help you relax and unwind.
