Employees of the organisation are divided into smaller teams, and each team is asked to create a pyramid using the materials handed to them. There is a mega goal also given to the group once each of them has completed their individual tasks.
All team members are given the necessary resources to create a pyramid. Once this task id done, a Trebound facilitator challenges all teams to put together their individual pyramids to create one giant 3D pyramid. The larger the group, the more challenging the task, and more impressive the results.
The activity is aimed at all employees of an organisation who have to work together to achieve a common goal. This activity is designed to make every employee understand his/her unique role and contribution in achieving the final result.
This activity teaches employees the value of time. Once lost, teams will not be able to catch up with the pace of the game.
This activity will help employees realize the value of every small job that goes into achieving the final result. While empathy and understanding increases, teams will be able to coordinate better to achieve the final result.
This activity is designed in such a way that it cannot be accomplished without effective planning and delegation. At the end of this activity, employees will be able to value the importance of planning, delegation, communication, conflict management and problem solving, as well as coordination in any project.
This activity will not be possible without equal contribution from all members of the team. Employees will be able to finally relate the dynamics of a team to their work environment, making them realize, acknowledge, and appreciate the value each member brings to the team.
