Our work environment plays a massive part in our workplace's happiness and wellbeing at the human level. Scientists have often found a link between happiness and productivity. Therefore it makes sense to encourage employees to keep a feeling of fun alive while they work. Communication, team bonding and collaboration determine how employees work and can ascertain their competitive edge over others if done right.

So we've decided to hunt down the most fun and impactful team building activities and compile all of them into one listing with game instructions and their benefits at the workplace.

1. Scavenger Hunt

One of the most popular corporate scavenger hunts, Wild Goose Chase, puts out your team into the city to explore, communicate, and collaborate because they tackle a series of entertaining picture and video struggles. But here's the hitch: each challenge is well worth a particular number of points, with some being worth a slew, along with many others being worthless. However, with limited time available, they'll have to be strategic by which challenges they finish -- and also how they do it. They will need to communicate effectively and work collaboratively -- even breaking into smaller groups to multitask challenges -- to secure the maximum points possible before time runs out.

2. Hazard Hunt

You merely find an image of a workplace, and each team attempts to discover as many dangers, or possible hazards, as possible. The team that places the most hazards wins. If you want to make it even more interactive, you can even mock a normal office and have the groups walk around on their hazard hunt. However, simply using photographs or illustrations featuring common workplace risks is an effective game to play in safety training.

3. Team Bingo

If you understand your employees reasonably well, make a listing of 25 fascinating things which you know clarifies different aspects of them. For instance, "lived in Sweden", "Can speak a couple of languages", "performs the guitar", or"includes a red Porsche" (okay for some, hey!). If you do not know your workers at all, create a list of 25 typical ice breaker questions. If in bigger groups bigger, split your employees into small teams of equal sizes. Give each player a bingo card. Explain that the team has 30 minutes to mingle with one another.

4. The Egg Drop

Your teamwork, creativity, time management set to test in this activity. Start by instructing the groups of this time limitation and ask them to make a structure to protect the egg using the specified materials. After everyone is ready, shout GO'.Keep going until every team has had their move in dropping the egg from the same height. The winning team is the person whose egg either survives or has suffered the least damage.

5. Lip Sync Battle

This activity is excellent for large groups and can be as much fun for the audience as the corporate actors. At that the beginning of your session, your team is going to be divided into groups. Individuals or teams compete for glory by showing off their best moves while lip-synching to their favourite songs.

6. Birthday Line-Up

Looking for a quick and simple team building activity to do with a large collection? A challenge that allows your team to practise problem-solving, collaboration and building (silent!) Communicating skills. Tell participants that this activity ought to be completed in total silence. Explain that the objective of this activity would be to line the group up according to their birthdays (day and month ) without talking. The line must begin with January 1st and end with December 31st. Permit the team to work together silently to complete the task. As soon as they think they're finished lining up, please start with the start of the line and ask participants to state the month and day where they were born out loud. If the group were successful, everyone would be in calendar order.

7. Brand connection

Much like the"Concentration" game from youth, where you flipped more than two cards simultaneously to obtain the matching pairs, this activity demands agility and observation spirit. Create a deck of cards with photos or words about your company. These may be photos of your team, logos, products, or value statements. Face all down the cards, then split the group into teams. Each team must take turns and lift just two cards at a time to find out if they match. The one that finds all of the pairs at the shortest period wins. The action is excellent for new hires who need a fun yet quick method to learn more about the company. But it isn't restricted only to them. Old hires can also brush up their knowledge and remain up to date with the most recent organizational adjustments.

8. The Barter puzzle

The Barter Puzzle improves the communication and problem-solving abilities of teams. Begin this activity by breaking your groups into four or more groups, providing each a difficult jigsaw puzzle. At precisely the same time, inform those groups that rival teams have some of their mystery pieces. Normally, negotiation is performed by bartering or exchanging members. 9. Human snakes

In a large room or an open field, split your group into teams of six to eight people. Have every team enter single-file lines. At the end of the line, the individual doesn't have to place a blindfold on, but everybody else does. When everybody is blindfolded, possess a supervisor put buckets on the floor or floor in random locations, one for each team. Then possess the manager to scatter various tiny objects -- like balls, laptops, and crayon boxes -- round the ground or ground. Next, have each person in the single-file line place their hands on the individual's shoulders facing them. The procedure is repeated until the first non-blindfolded individual makes their way to the rear of the line after more. The first team to move through their entire snake wins.

10. The Telephone game

Players must sit in a circle or stand in a direct line. They will need to be close enough that whispering is potential, but not so near that players may hear every other whisper. The first person in the line or circle whispers a word or phrase into the person's ear, sitting or standing for their right. Players whisper the phrase to their neighbours until it reaches the last player in line. The last player states the word or phrase out loud so everyone can hear how much it's changed from the first whisper at the start of the circle or line.

11. The story game

Each group will build a story. Each person is only allowed to say one sentence and must continue the story. The next person in line has to continue the story and have it make sense. This procedure continues until it reaches the last person in the team's line. The last person in line must conclude the story in 1 sentence as well. Have the staff create a narrative. Should you want, judges can decide which story is the best. This match is a ridiculous game that typically leads to hilarious stories!

12. We, The Health Freaks

You can have fun at work and be healthy at the same moment. You can conduct fitness tasks (both indoor and outside ones). Fitness activities are the perfect method to both induce employee participation and build your teams' bonding. Conducts events where everyone in the company participates. For example, you can conduct a half marathon where everybody can participate. Occasions like these are not just easy on the pockets but also extremely engaging to your workers.

13. Pumpkin Carving

Have fun and enhance morale as groups work together to design, shape and carve/decorate pumpkins with Pumpkin Carving activity. The participants can maintain the pumpkins brought back to the office. Jack-o-lanterns are a classic Halloween decoration that allows you to express yourself creatively while also making your space seem awesome.

14. Back-to-Back Drawing

This practice is about listening, clarity and growing possible strategies once we communicate. Communication, expectations, needs, and much more, helps to clarify and make common ground. It will show what occurs when we do not...With this activity, you'll need an even number of participants so everybody can have a spouse. Once folks have paired, they sit back-to-back with a paper and pencil each. For more than five to ten minutes, the speaker describes a geometric image from a prepared set, while the listener tries to turn this description into a drawing without even looking at the picture.

15. Powerful Feedback in "I" Mode

Defensiveness is a root cause of miscommunication and even conflict at work. We're not always prepared to receive and learn from criticism, especially when it's delivered insensitively. This practice introduces"I" statements, which describe others' behaviour while allowing the speaker to express the impact on their feelings. Employees can pair off or work alone; they will require a worksheet of imaginary scenarios like this one in either event. Together or solo, they could make"I" statements about how the imaginary scenario makes them feel. When performed in pairs, they can practice giving each other feedback based on 'what you say without triggering defensiveness from the other.

If done right, team building activities are quite a win-win with greater productivity and a lively workspace.
