Overview

Born to Race combines construction with pure competition. Teams design and build their own racing machine from the materials provided, then take it to the track to race wheel to wheel against the other teams in a high-energy finale.

The build rewards planning and clever engineering: the racer has to be fast, but also sturdy enough to survive the race. Teams divide roles, problem-solve their design, and coordinate to get their machine to the start line ready to run.

Then the racing takes over, and all the build work is put to the test in an adrenaline-charged competition. It is an outdoor favourite that blends creativity, teamwork and the simple thrill of racing something you built yourself.
